Astral Player
A player that treats radio as a first-class source
Every player handles local files. Almost none of them treat internet radio as something you can actually work with. Astral Player runs live streams through the same processing chain as local audio, which means the equaliser applies to radio too.
When something good comes on, the recogniser tells you what it is. When you want to keep it, the downloader fetches it. No tab switching, no third-party services in the loop.
It is native by design — no Electron shell, no browser runtime. That is also why we test it as a native app rather than in a browser.
