Live stem separation is the feature that decides whether a DJ tool feels modern. Buying it means depending on someone else's service, their pricing and their latency. So we are training our own.
The training set pairs full mixes with their original stems — roughly fifteen hundred pairs and growing — which is the part that actually determines the ceiling. The target is parity with the separation quality people already expect from the leading commercial tools, running locally.
When it is ready it becomes a component, not a product: Astral DJ DAW and Astral Portal both consume it directly.
